Forest Awakening
About Forest Awakening
This is a small, personal project about the big question hiding in plain sight: what are people seeing, what do the records actually say, and how close can public evidence get us to the truth?
Why It Exists
Forest Awakening is a hobby project by Martijn van Halen, a sci-fi fan trying to find the truth. It started from a simple feeling: if governments, archives, researchers, witnesses, and communities are all leaving fragments in public view, it should be easier to read those fragments together.
The site is part public-record browser, part signal map, part AI-assisted notebook. It is built to make official records easier to explore without pretending every strange thing has the same explanation.
How To Read It
The goal is curiosity with brakes. Forest Awakening treats source material as evidence to inspect, not as automatic proof of aliens, secret programs, simulations, or any other favorite answer.
The Overlords AI tools are there to help compare cases, ask better questions, separate facts from speculation, and point back toward original sources. They can be useful, but they can also be wrong, so important claims should always be checked against the source records.
What It Is Not
Forest Awakening is not an official government project, news organization, academic institution, or final authority on UAP cases. It is an experimental site maintained by one person in spare time.
Some records are incomplete, approximate, disputed, or machine-assisted. The project will change as more sources are added and as better ways to organize the material emerge.
